1. 
The Codex Gigas (Giant Book) is the largest existing medieval illuminated manuscript in the world with a length of 92 cm (36 in). This is also known as the Devil's Bible due to a somewhat rare full-page image of the Devil, and the legend that surrounds this.


2. Brooke Megan Greenberg (January 8, 1993 – October 24, 2013) was an American who, despite her growing age, remained physically and cognitively similar to a child. It was about 30 in (76 cm) tall, weighed about 16 lb (7.3 kg), She was only one person in the world with "Syndrome X" which prevents normal aging. Brooke Greenberg is 20 and appears to be 1 year old. Greenberg died on 24 October 2013 at the Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital in the Sinai Medical Center in Baltimore, the same hospital where she was born.


3. The Global Seed Vault lies deep inside a mountain on a remote island in the Svalbard archipelago, halfway between the mainland of Norway and the North Pole. It is a long-term seed storage facility, providing insurance against both incremental and catastrophic crop diversity losses in traditional gene banks around the world. The Seed Vault provides long-term protection for one of the most important natural resources on earth. The Global Seed Vault can hold large amounts of seed. It is designed to store a total of 4.5 million varieties of crops, each containing around 500 seeds.


4. The Japanese don't use the signatures. Instead, they use kanji seals with the name of the person. The stamps are called Hanko or Inkan and are made of wood, ivory, or plastic. The usual seal, the Mitomein, is used for registered mail and so on instead of a signature.

What's the Hanko or the Inkan? Inkan is a seal of the name of an individual or organization used in place of a signature on documents in Japan. Hanko is a physical object that is pressed on the paper to create a seal.


5. There is a restaurant in pain "El Diablo" that grills it's food over a Volcano. Designed by local architect Cesar Manrique and built in the 1970s, where meat, poultry, and fish are grilled using the geothermal heat of the volcano.

8. A giant 10-feet-long liger—a hybrid of tigress and lion—was named Guinness World Records' largest cat in the world. The liger named Hercules weighs 418 kg and lives in the Myrtle Beach Safari Wildlife Reserve in South Carolina.
